A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday following a recent disclosure of a rare blood cancer diagnosis.
The Kennedy Library Announces the Passing
News of her death was shared in a social media post by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”
Insight into the Illness
Within a personal essay late last year, Schlossberg revealed that she had been found to have AML, a form of leukemia with a rare mutation.
This form of cancer is a cancer that originates in the body's blood-forming tissues.
Those close to her has requested privacy as they cope with their sorrow.
